How to create a FTP account for use with Web Deploy

By default you get a hosting space FTP account to manage all of your web site files, this account cannot be used with web deploy publishing. You must create a dedicated FTP account for the site you wish to publish to. This guide will show you how to create a FTP user account for a particular site.
Sign in to the Control Panel
Access FTP Accounts
Click FTP Accounts
Create FTP Account
Click Create FTP Account
Edit FTP Account Properties
1. Enter your new User name and Password
2. Select the Home folder This is where you select the root of the site you wish to publish to. Note that wwwroot is the root folder if that site. Note: if you select "\" as your Home Folder it would not show up when you Re-build your publish profile.
3. Set your Access Rights to both Read and Write
4. Click Save.
